Shipping & Delivery

All parcels will be sent by Australia Post or courier to the address supplied by you when you place your order. Postage charges are calculated by weight when you visit the checkout page (for example $10 for orders weighing up to 1kg, $15 for 1kg to 1.5kg , $17 for 1.5kg to 2.0kg, higher postage frates for larger). All orders can be collected in person from our Richmond store (there is no cost for in-store collection of parcels). Your order will be processed by Banksia Yarns as soon as the products arrive from our suppliers. Your parcel will then be dispatched (or available for collection) the same day.Store View

Privacy & Security
Banksia Yarns will not collect and on-sell any information you supply. We will use your information only to process your orders – not even our suppliers have access to your details.
We will only ask you for your credit card number if you want to place your order by phone.
We use PayPal to securely process your credit card payment online. We do not store a copy of your credit card number in our system.
This means we ask you to re-enter your credit card each time you make a payment.
Returns & Replacements

Should you feel you need to return any of the products you order from Banksia Yarns, you first need to contact us and tell us the reason for the return. You will be sent ‘instructions for returning products’, which will include postage details, issuing of credit note, restocking fees etc. Generally, products returned MUST be in unused condition (including hanks not being rewound into balls), and MUST be returned within 7 days of receipt from Banksia Yarns.

All products leaving Banksia Yarns will be in their new condition as supplied to us. Any product arriving that is not of new condition, where the ‘parcel was damaged en route to the customer’ is covered by the postal insurance. Please contact Banksia Yarns immediately to arrange replacement. 

Special Orders

Special Orders can be placed in-store or over the phone. Our friendly staff will take your order, and advise on delivery times. Choose from our yarns sourced from around the world, nominate the colour and quantity of yarns required for your project and make your payment. It’s that easy. We do the rest. You can nominate to collect your parcel from our Richmond store, or have your parcel posted to any address in Australia for $10 flat rate.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Our online payment provider is paypal. We do not have access to your credit card details. In store, payment will be by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card..

The prices of the yarns available through Banksia Yarns will be the standard retail price as available in other outlets. We will not be undercutting our prices to compete with discount chain stores. We have good quality yarn at respectable prices.

Banksia Yarns will regularly run product promotions, where a discounted price will be advertised on any product at any time. The discounted price will only be available in the specified time frame. Discounted yarns will be available for sale both in store and online. Yarns being promoted will generally be discontinued lines or colours, as advised by our suppliers or stock run-outs as determined by Banksia Yarns.

Payment by Credit Card Online using the PayPal Button
Paying with your Credit Card online is easy. We use PayPal to securely  process your Credit Card Details. To pay with your Credit Card, select the PayPal button at the checkout. When you have completed the details, you will be redirected to the PayPal website where you can enter your credit card details directly or select PayPal if you prefer to use this for your payment.

Payment by Cheque or Money Order
If you are are paying using a Cheque or Money order - make the cheque or money order payable to "Banksia Yarns" and post it to our Richmond Store address - Shop 7 Magnolia Mall, 285 Windsor Street Richmond, NSW 2753.
